Table Clinics Competition for Dental Assisting Students
The California Dental Association is pleased to extend an invitation to any dental assisting student who wishes to present a table clinic at the CDA Spring Scientific Session, May 1-4, 2008, at the Anaheim Convention Center. The Dental Assisting Table Clinic Competition will be held in the afternoon of Friday, May 2, 2008, after students have the opportunity to present their tables to Scientific Sessions attendees visiting the Table Clinics area. Table Clinics Competition - Deadline to apply is April 1st, 2008
Although there is no cost to present a table clinic, all presenters must be registered participants for the 2008 CDA Scientific Session. We urge you to encourage your students to participate in the table clinic program, a popular well-attended event that gives dental assisting students the opportunity to share new ideas and innovative techniques with other members of the profession.

All participants will receive a complimentary gift and will have their names published in the 2008 September edition of the Journal of the California Dental Association.
For the first time this year, the Dental Assistant Student Table Clinic Competition will be open for public viewing on Friday, May 2, from 12pm – 2pm. In addition to earning one continuing education (CE) unit for viewing the Dental Assistant Student Table Clinic Competition, viewers will also have the opportunity to earn two additional CE units by attending the CDA Foundation-sponsored First Smiles CE presentation and completing the course work. Take advantage of this opportunity to earn bonus CE units that is available during your lunch hour on Friday, May 2, which may enhance your clinical dental skills and resume.
